The encampment is perched on a ridge overlooking the Ballena river and jungle mountaintops. Each tent has has an exterior deck with mountain and jungle views and is an excellent place for birdwatching or relaxing to the sounds of the jungle. It affords spectacular views of wildlife from exotic birds and ant eaters, to howler monkeys swinging from the trees.
