My Mission
Heal the Individual, Heal the Collective
Hi, I’m Marley- Mentor for Heart-Centered and Amplified Living! I help quarter-lifers by providing tools for self-discovery and radical insight, so that they can ignite their passion, discover their vision, and start living their most vibrant, aligned lives.
My mission in teaching yoga and in Being is to foster deeper love and connection amongst all that is. I believe that returning to our true state of unity begins with each individual transforming and healing themselves first, so they can begin to recognize their own inner light in everyone and everything around them; and choose to act from that place of oneness.
My Journey
I live for self-study, inner transformation, and human connection.
I found yoga at age 16. At the time, I was struggling with various health issues- throwing up almost daily due to overworking myself in achievement-based AP classes and Varsity sports while living in a high-tension household with parents going through a pretty ugly divorce. I had literally made myself sick from the stress. Something in me knew that this couldn’t be the only way…
Around that same time, I stumbled into a yoga class; and it wasn’t long after then that I started reorganizing my whole life from top to bottom- seeing a therapist and getting healthy in body, mind, heart, and soul- having breakthrough after breakthrough with each class. And that was only the beginning…
Through all of the ups and downs of my early adulthood, yoga and its beautiful community have been there. It is the church that I come to when I need to fall apart, as well as the open door that I skip through to share some of my most exciting news.
Yoga has taught me to be a student of life. It has been the practice of becoming and unbecoming over and over again, peeling away the layers and starting anew. It has created a greater capacity to sit with my emotions and discomfort, as well as the inner space to hear my own Truth. Most of all, it has given me the courage and strength to reinvent continuously and create the life that was meant for me, leading from an open-heart, rather than hurt and fear.
